 Terms of Use – TCG Scanner

Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully. By downloading or using the TCG Scanner app for Android ("the app", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. The app

TCG Scanner helps collectors identify trading cards, check estimated market prices, estimate card condition and organize their collection. It works with cards from several trading card games, including Pokémon, One Piece Card Game, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Disney Lorcana.

2. Free plan and TCG Scanner PRO

You can use the app for free with some limits, such as a daily number of scans and a maximum number of cards in your collection. We may change the free features and limits at any time.

TCG Scanner PRO is an optional subscription that removes these limits and unlocks extra features. PRO is offered as weekly, monthly and yearly plans. Prices are shown in the app and in Google Play before you buy, in your local currency, and may include taxes.

- Payment: Google Play charges your Google account when you confirm the purchase.

- Automatic renewal: your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price unless you cancel it before the renewal date.

- Free trial: if a plan includes a free trial, you will be charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before it ends. Only one free trial per user.

- Introductory offers: discounted offers apply only to the period stated in the offer. After that, the subscription renews at the regular price.

- Cancelling: you can cancel at any time in Google Play (Play Store > Profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions). After cancelling, you keep PRO until the end of the period you already paid for.

- Refunds: refunds are handled by Google according to Google Play's refund policies. Uninstalling the app does not cancel your subscription.

- Price changes: if the price of your subscription changes, Google Play will notify you in advance as required by its policies.

3. Prices and information are estimates

Card prices, price trends, graded values and market movers come from third-party sources and are estimates for information only. They may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate, and the price you get when buying or selling a card may be different. Nothing in the app is financial or investment advice or a professional appraisal.

Card recognition may occasionally identify the wrong card or version. Always check the result before relying on it.

The AI grading tool gives an estimate only. It is not an official grade and it is not connected to PSA, BGS, CGC or any other grading company, whose results may be different.

4. Third-party content and trademarks

Card names, images and data are provided by public third-party databases and belong to their respective owners. Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece Card Game, Disney Lorcana, TCGplayer, Cardmarket, PSA, BGS and CGC are trademarks of their respective owners. TCG Scanner is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, Creatures, GAME FREAK, Wizards of the Coast, Konami, Bandai, Disney or any of the services mentioned. Card images are shown only to identify cards.

5. License and acceptable use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

- copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the app, except where the law allows it;

- use the app, its data or its content to build a competing product or database, or extract data in bulk;

- use the app in any unlawful way or in a way that could damage the app or the services it connects to.

6. Your data

Your collection and settings are stored on your device and belong to you. Please see our Privacy Policy for details. We recommend exporting your collection regularly, because we cannot restore data that is lost from your device.

7. Availability and changes

We may update, change or discontinue features of the app at any time. The app depends on third-party services that may be unavailable from time to time. We do not guarantee that the app will always be available, error-free or up to date.

8. Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, data or value, including losses from buying, selling, grading or trading cards based on information shown in the app. Our total liability for any claim related to the app is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have as a consumer under the laws of your country that cannot be limited by contract.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the effective date. If you continue to use the app after the changes take effect, you accept the new Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live.
